This article systematically analyzes the impact of decades of geopolitical confrontation between the United States and Iran on the global economy. This confrontation, which began with the Iranian Revolution in 1979, entered a new phase with international sanctions since 2006, the JCPOA signed in 2015, and the US withdrawal from the agreement in 2018. The analysis is based on the latest statistical data from international organizations such as the IMF, the World Bank, the EIA, and UNCTAD, as well as academic studies by Laudati and Pesaran (2023), Farzanegan (2024), and others.References
