Mazkur maqolada maktab o‘quvchilarida kognitiv dissonansning yuzaga kelish sabablari, uning o‘qish jarayonidagi namoyon bo‘lish shakllari hamda o‘quv motivatsiyasiga ta’siri psixologik jihatdan yoritilgan. Shuningdek, o‘quvchilarda ichki ziddiyat holatining qaror qabul qilish jarayoniga ta’siri va bu holatning o‘quv samaradorligiga bog‘liqligi ham tahlil qilingan. Shu bilan birga, o‘quvchilarda ichki ziddiyatni kamaytirish va ta’limga bo‘lgan ijobiy munosabatni shakllantirish bo‘yicha tavsiyalar ham berilgan.
