INTERACTION OF PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND EDUCATION

Abstract:

This article considers the role of professional standards in modernization of the education and training system in Uzbekistan. In the conditions of rapid economic development and changing requirements in the labor market there is a need to adapt educational programs to modern professional standards. Interaction between standards and educational institutions plays a key role in ensuring that the qualifications of graduates meet the expectations of employers. The mechanisms of implementing standards in educational programs, their impact on the content of education, as well as the role of dual education and continuing professional education are studied. Special attention is paid to the problems of mismatch of graduate qualifications with market requirements and how standards can contribute to their solution. The paper concludes with recommendations for improving the interaction between professional standards and educational institutions to ensure long-term economic growth and sustainable development of human resources.
