DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE ECONOMY AND ITS IMPACT ON THE LABOR MARKET

Abstract:

The article examines the digital transformation of the economy and its impact on the labor market in the context of globalization. Based on the analysis of international reports, scientific publications, and statistical data, the main trends of digitalization are identified, including the transformation of employment structure, the emergence of new professions, and the changing requirements for workers’ competencies. Particular attention is paid to automation, the development of platform-based employment, the growing demand for digital skills, and the risks of technological unemployment. The study concludes that it is necessary to adapt the education system and state employment policy to the conditions of the digital economy.
