Open Access

This document applies to all scholarly journals and conference proceedings published by Innovative Academy RSC.

Innovative Academy RSC titles operate a full Gold Open Access model: every article is freely available to readers immediately on publication, with no embargo period.

1. Open access principles

Our policy follows the definitions of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI, 2002) and the Berlin Declaration (2003): users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, link to, index and use articles for any lawful purpose — free of financial, legal and technical barriers.

2. Licence

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. The only condition is proper attribution to the authors and the original source. Full licence text: Public Licence.

3. No charges for readers

There are no subscriptions, pay-per-view charges or mandatory registration. Publishing costs are covered by author fees (Financial Policy).

4. Copyright

Authors retain copyright; the publisher receives only a non-exclusive licence. Authors may deposit any version of the article in any repository (Copyright and Licensing).

5. Long-term preservation

Every article is permanently archived in Zenodo (the open research repository operated by CERN) and registered with a DOI through DataCite. This keeps articles accessible even if the journal website becomes unavailable. See Archiving and Repository Policy.
