ANALYSIS OF THE PREVALENCE OF IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA AND THE PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF DRUGS USED FOR THEIR TREATMENT

About one in four people worldwide suffer from iron ID, the most common micronutrient deficiency. Children, women of reproductive age, and those living in low- and middle-income nations are disproportionately affected. With effects ranging from decreased physical performance and quality of life in adults to increased risks during pregnancy, including low birth weight, preterm delivery, and maternal mortality, as well as impaired cognitive and motor development in children, it substantially adds to the global burden of disease. Though clinical and functional abnormalities, including exhaustion, immunological dysfunction, and cognitive deficiencies, can happen even in the absence of anemia, ID frequently occurs before IDA. According to the World Health Organization, iron deficiency anemia (IDA) affects 30% of the population worldwide, making it the most prevalent dietary deficiency. Reduced dietary iron and decreased iron absorption are additional contributing factors to IDA, even though gastrointestinal bleeding and women's menstruation are the most frequent causes. Restoring iron reserves and bringing hemoglobin levels back to normal should be the goals of treatment for patients with IDA. This has been demonstrated to enhance pregnancy outcomes, morbidity, quality of life, and the prognosis for chronic illnesses. Numerous chronic inflammatory diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease, chronic kidney disease, and congestive heart failure, are associated with iron deficiency. An updated summary of the diagnosis and treatment of IDA in patients with chronic illnesses, both before and during pregnancy, will be given in this article. Along with a summary of the cost comparison of the various iron formulations now available on the market, we will go over the advantages and disadvantages of oral versus intravenous iron replacement in each group.

TUBERCULOSIS AND IRON-CONTAINING CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC DRUGS

Today, in our country, special attention is paid to improving the healthcare system, including early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of tuberculosis. Some features of iron metabolism in mycobacteria are considered, as well as the varieties and pathogenesis of various variants of anemia that can develop with tuberculosis: iron deficiency (subcutaneous iron deficiency), associated with chronic disease (with relative iron deficiency) or drug-induced (variants: sideroachrestic, hemolytic, aplastic). The possibilities of correction of tuberculosis treatment regimens with the introduction of a complex compound of iron with isoniazid in order to reduce undesirable adverse reactions to isoniazid are analyzed.

PHARMACEUTICAL TABLET MANUFACTURING PROCESS VIA WET GRANULATION FOR IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA TREATMENT ERITIM

The most prevalent form of nutritional deficiency resulting in anemia is iron deficiency, primarily caused by insufficient consumption of dietary iron. World Health Organizations’ information indicate that, 40% of all children aged 6–59 months, 37% of pregnant women and 30% of women 15–49 years of age are suffer from anaemia. Anemia is most commonly found in children under the age of 5, especially infants and those under 2 years old. These young children are particularly vulnerable to developing anemia [1].

RATIONAL USE OF IRON SUPPLEMENTS IN THE TREATMENT OF ANEMIA

Anemia remains one of the most common pathologies in clinical practice and represents a significant medical and social problem affecting various age and clinical groups. Iron deficiency is the leading cause of anemic conditions in many cases, leading to the widespread use of iron supplements for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes

GEM SINTEZI BUZILISHINING YURAK YETISHMOVCHILIGI RIVOJLANISHIGA TA’SIRI

The association between chronic heart failure (CHF) and iron deficiency (ID) anemia is frequently observed in current medical practice and has a negative prognostic impact, reducing patients’ exercise capacity. Moreover, anemia is common in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and CHF, forming an association known as cardio-renal anemia syndrome (CRAS), which significantly increases the risk of mortality. This article aims to present the impact of ID in CHF patients and the benefits of iron supplementation in CHF, based on the relationship between functional and absolute ID in CHF. A complex pathophysiological interaction is described, including decreased erythropoietin levels and activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. These mechanisms exacerbate anemia, CHF, and CKD, worsening patient outcomes.

ADVERSE EFFECTS OF ANEMIA IN PREGNANCY ON THE ADAPTATION PERIOD OF NEWBORNS AND THEIR HEALTHY

55 pregnant women with anemia and their children participated in the study. 20 pregnant women without anemia took part in the study as a control group. The structure of morbidity and severity of anemia of pregnant women and its consequences for fetal development and early adaptation of a newborn were investigated. The morbidity structure, the severity of anemia and the influence of mothers’ anemia to the fetuses and newborns were revealed.Iron deficiency anemia of pregnant women aggravates the course of the gestational process, causes a number of complications in childbirth and the postpartum period, affects the development of fetal and newborn pathology. It is shown that iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women is a polyethological disease with a complex pathogenesis, accompanied byiron-and folate-deficient conditions and an imbalance of the most important trace elements.

DEVELOPMENT OF A TECHNOLOGY FOR PREPARING A FOOD BASED ON ANTI-ANEMIA FOOD

This article presents the results of research on the development of a syrup preparation technology based on plant raw materials with anti-anemic properties. The aim was to select biologically active components of plant origin, containing iron, vitamins and organic acids, which have the property of stimulating hematopoiesis processes. A technological scheme for syrup production was developed, its physicochemical, organoleptic and microbiological properties were evaluated. The possibilities of using the developed product as a functional food product and auxiliary agent in the prevention and complex treatment of anemia were demonstrated.

URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS IN PREGNANCY: TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT

According to the literature, the incidence of gestational pyelonephritis (GP) is 5-10%, while the development of the disease increases the risk of intrauterine infection and miscarriage (Styazhkina S.N. et al., 2015). The study of the interaction between gestational pyelonephritis and pregnancy is relevant due to the high percentage of obstetric complications, negative perinatal outcomes and severe diseases in newborns, which emphasizes the medical and socio-economic significance of the problem. In chronic pyelonephritis, pregnancy is complicated by iron deficiency anemia (35-70%), premature termination of pregnancy at various stages (15-20%), chronic placental insufficiency (30-35%), preeclampsia (35-70%). 30-40% causes complications such as chronic uterine hypoxia (30-40%), fetal infection (20-30%) and growth retardation (12-15%). In chronic pyelonephritis, the ability of pregnant women to adapt to newborns is significantly impaired and the risk of early neonatal death increases.
