Abstract:
The article provides information on the importance of using fairy tales in educating and raising preschool children through a competence-based approach, the development of core competencies in 6-7-year-old children, and the formation of competencies in various areas of development. It discusses the role of fairy tales in developing the social consciousness of preschool children, shaping their personal qualities, fostering good relationships with parents, adults, and friends, acquiring basic knowledge about the world, and developing personal "I" qualities. Fairy tales, not only as interesting stories but also as an essential tool for fostering creativity, broadening children's abilities, and providing holistic education, have significant importance. The article also reveals how practical exercises based on fairy tales positively influence the development of competencies in preschool children.
