Abstract:

The rapid advancement of digitalization has transformed industries, economies, and societies worldwide. At the core of this transformation lie information systems (IS) and technologies, which enable efficient data management, decision-making, and innovation. This paper explores the critical role of IS and technologies in driving digitalization, highlighting their impact on organizational processes, competitiveness, and societal progress. We adopt the IMRAD structure to systematically present the research, focusing on the importance of IS in fostering sustainable digital ecosystems.
